Investment Analyst
Role Summary:
The Investment Analyst analyses securities/funds traded in the global markets and recommends those that have the potential to enhance the returns of matched portfolios.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
Research Analysis: Recommends investment action on global funds based macroeconomic, commodity-based analyses, and using ATRAM investment methods or frameworks such as the funds ratings framework in order to guide portfolio managers
Research Communication: Writes reports, builds presentation decks, and Presents research studies to internal in order to inform and persuade a course of investment action.
Research Administration: Maintains key databases such as the ratings scorecards relevant to the local markets, updates process manuals, and ensures data integrity in order to meet internal and external audit requirements.
Competencies required:
- Demonstrate full understanding of the financial/capital markets, economic theory, and investment analysis
- Process centric, capable of multi-dimensional tasking
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Effective networking skills.
Education and experience required:
- Bachelor’s Degree in finance, economics, or science-related courses
- 0-1 year of experience as an investment analyst (equities/fixed-income/market/credit)
