IP Coder | Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI) Specialist

We are looking for skilled CDI Specialists and Inpatient Coders to join our dynamic team and drive clinical and coding accuracy across client systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze inpatient medical records to ensure clinical documentation accurately reflects patient severity, risk, and outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to clarify documentation and support accurate DRG assignment.
• Identify documentation improvement opportunities and provide feedback to clinical staff.
• Apply knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, MS-DRGs, and coding compliance guidelines.
• Perform accurate and timely assignment of ICD-10-CM/PCS codes based on thorough review of inpatient medical records.
• Ensure accurate DRG assignment for hospital reimbursement and compliance.
• Maintain productivity and accuracy as per client and company standards.
• Stay up to date with official coding guidelines and payer-specific requirements.

Qualifications:

• Must be PHRN/USRN with Active license
• Must have active coding license
• At least 1 year of experience in Inpatient Coding or Clinical Documentation Improvement for US healthcare clients.
• Strong understanding of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, DRG systems, and Medicare guidelines.
• Familiarity with EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) is a plus.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
