Job description:
Key ResponsibilitiesAssess patients with breathing or lung problems (e.g., asthma, pneumonia)
Administer oxygen therapy and aerosol medications
Operate and monitor ventilators (life-support machines)
Perform diagnostic tests (lung function tests, arterial blood gases)
Assist in emergency care (e.g., CPR, airway management)
Educate patients on breathing techniques and home care
Work closely with doctors, nurses, and other healthcare staff

Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in respiratory therapyLicensure / Certification
Must pass the Respiratory Therapist Licensure Exam regulated by the Professional Regulation Commission
Experience
Entry-level positions are available for fresh graduates
Clinical internships during college are usually required
Experience in ICU or emergency care is a plus
