About the role
DITO Telecommunity Corporation is seeking a Store Specialist to join our retail team in Cebu. This is a contract position that plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our retail environment. As a Store Specialist, you will be the face of our brand, responsible for engaging with customers, showcasing our telecommunications products and services, and ensuring every visitor to our store has a positive and memorable experience.This position is integral to achieving our retail objectives and building customer loyalty in the local market.
Key responsibilities- Greet and assist customers with a warm, professional demeanour, understanding their needs and guiding them towards appropriate telecommunications solutions
- Demonstrate product knowledge of DITO services, including mobile plans, internet packages, and value-added services, to help customers make informed decisions
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using point-of-sale systems and other retail technology
- Provide customer support and address inquiries or concerns regarding DITO products and services with professionalism and empathy
- Maintain the store environment by keeping displays organised, clean and visually appealing to encourage customer engagement
- Achieve and exceed individual and team sales targets through effective product promotion and customer engagement
- Process customer registrations, account activations, and related administrative tasks in compliance with company procedures
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and support colleagues during peak trading periods
- Follow company policies, procedures and brand standards consistently to maintain service quality and operational integrity
- Report any store concerns or customer feedback to management to facilitate continuous improvement
- Proven experience in retail, customer service, or sales environments, preferably in the telecommunications industry
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage customers in a friendly, professional manner
- Strong sales ability with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer literacy
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays as required by store operations
- Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to customer satisfaction
- Positive attitude, enthusiasm and willingness to learn about new products and services
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment
- Preferably, familiarity with DITO Telecommunity Corporation's products and market positioning
