SMC Integrated Farm Specialist Inc. is a subsidiary of San Miguel Corporation established in 2018.

Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition, and healthcare.

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR - Naga City, Cebu

Qualifications:

• Educational Background: Graduate of any 4 – 5 years course in Engineering is advantage but not required, Food Technology or other related field.
• Work Experience: Have an experience as Quality Control in Food Industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

• Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance.
• Excellent knowledge of standard poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, inventory and variance managements.
• Good Communication skills both oral and written
• Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Highly mobile and/ or can travel anywhere in the country at any time.
• Must be available to travel anywhere in the country as needed for business requirements.

Job Description:

A QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they are released to customers. They inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, or finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ensures the Customer Product Standards and Specifications are strictly implemented in the operation.
• Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and Quality and Food Safety System are implemented throughout the operation.
• Ensure orderliness, cleanliness and sanitation of Production facilities and its auxiliary facilities such Wastewater Treatment and Rendering Plants.
• Demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of self and others.
• Demonstrates commitment to Company Rules and Regulations
• Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
