IT ASSISTANT - HELPDESK (FOR POOLING)

Job Description:

  • Respond to helpdesk tickets, phone calls, and emails to provide first-line support to end-users.
  • Escalate complex issues to higher-level IT staff as necessary.
  • Guide users through step-by-step solutions for technical problems.
  • Educate and train employees on basic IT practices, including password security, software usage, and data backup.
  • Assist in onboarding new employees by setting up workstations, email accounts, and necessary software.
  • Maintain inventory records of IT equipment and software licenses.
  • Document all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.

Job Qualification:

  • A graduate of BS in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a helpdesk or IT support role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Powerpoint)
  • Willing to be assigned in Mandaue City, Cebu
