About the Role
We're looking for a Risk and Compliance Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll help review and monitor compliance-related activities, ensuring that company processes align with regulatory requirements and internal standards. Qualifications- At least 1.5 to 2.5 years of experience in Risk and Compliance, AML/KYC, sanctions screening, or a related field.

- Experience reviewing and analyzing screening alerts or compliance-related cases.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as OFAC, the USA PATRIOT Act, or similar compliance frameworks is an advantage.
- Conduct sanctions and regulatory screening on entities and individuals using automated tools
- Review and analyze screening alerts/hits and perform mitigation aligned with regulatory guidelines
- Ensure compliance with global regulations such as OFAC and USA PATRIOT Act
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing guidance, insights, and regulatory updates
- Perform audits, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and quality reviews to ensure accuracy and identify improvements
- Support process enhancements including documentation, manuals, and training materials
- Provide progress updates and coordinate with internal stakeholders
- Handle team queries, manage escalations, and ensure proper escalation procedures
- Participate in change management initiatives to improve processes and compliance
- Conduct training sessions and share best practices on sanctions and financial crime regulations
- Apply knowledge of financial crime risks including PEPs, adverse media, and high-risk entities
- Conduct sanctions and regulatory screening on individuals and organizations using available screening tools.
- Review alerts and screening results and determine the appropriate next steps based on established guidelines.
- Help ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and third-party due diligence processes.
- Investigate potential compliance concerns and escalate findings when needed.
- Support quality checks and audits to maintain accuracy and consistency.
- Assist in identifying process improvements and sharing best practices with the team.
- Keep records and documentation updated and accurate.
- Stay informed about regulatory updates and support the team in understanding any process changes.
