About the role

Metallfit, Inc. is seeking a skilled Planner to join our dynamic team in Biñan, Laguna. As a Planner, you will play a crucial role in optimising our production processes and ensuring efficient workflow within our manufacturing/ project operations.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
2. Minimum 1 year of experience in production planning, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments
5. Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
6. Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and safety standard.

FUNCTIONS:

1. Develop and maintain comprehensive production plans to meet customer demands and business objectives
2. Collaborate with production, inventory, and supply chain teams to align and coordinate activities
3. Analyse production data, identify bottlenecks, and implement strategies to improve efficiency
4. Participate in the development and implementation of new production methods and technologies
5. Provide regular reports and recommendations to management on production performance
6. Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and company policies
7. Mentor and train junior planning personnel, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
