About the role
Sert Technology Inc. is seeking a talented Business Analyst / Systems Analyst to join our dynamic Information and Communication Technology team. This is a full-time position based in General Trias City, Cavite. As a Business Analyst / Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technological solutions, ensuring that our systems and processes are optimized to support organizational objectives and drive business growth.
What you'll be doing- Elicit, document and analyse business requirements from stakeholders across various departments and translate them into clear functional and technical specifications
- Conduct thorough systems analysis to evaluate current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement and digital transformation
- Design and propose innovative system solutions that align with business objectives and deliver measurable value
- Collaborate with IT development teams, project managers and business stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of system changes and enhancements
- Create detailed process documentation, workflow diagrams, data flow diagrams and system architecture specifications
- Perform user acceptance testing (UAT) coordination and support to validate that implemented solutions meet agreed business requirements
- Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for optimization and enhancement
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process efficiency gains
- Support project planning and provide technical input on feasibility, timelines and resource requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field
- 2-5 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst or similar role within the technology or business services sector
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, systems design principles and software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid approaches)
- Proficiency in creating and interpreting business requirements documents, use case diagrams, entity-relationship diagrams and process flow documentation
- Experience with system analysis tools and software (such as Visio, Jira, Confluence or similar platforms)
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into business language and vice versa
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with demonstrated attention to detail
- Proficiency in data analysis and familiarity with database concepts and SQL is advantageous
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies relevant to business systems
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Professional certifications such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional), IIBA credentials or similar qualifications are preferred but not essential
