• Supervise all activities related to tunnel construction, installation, and facility operations.
• Monitor progress of tunneling works and ensure adherence to project timelines, specifications, and budget.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, safety officers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee daily site operations, including the deployment and performance of laborers, equipment, and materials.
• Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Conduct regular inspections and quality checks of tunneling equipment and facility systems.
• Maintain accurate records of work progress, incidents, and materials used.
• Provide training and guidance to team members on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Assist in resolving on-site technical issues and coordinate implementation of solutions.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science and systems engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in tunnel construction or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Proven leadership experience in a supervisory or superintendent role.
• Strong knowledge of tunneling methods (e.g., NATM, TBM, cut-and-cover).
• Familiar with tunnel safety standards, ventilation systems, and facility operations.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in speaking both English and Japanese.
