Job Description:
We use Claude as our primary AI platform, alongside ChatGPT, and we are building a serious library of agentic AI applications, skills and integrations across the Harmony Fire group. Our AI Enablement Lead designs what the business needs. You are the person who builds it. This is a hands-on, code-heavy, ship-it-fast role.The AI Enablement Lead sits with the business in the UK, gathers requirements, and hands you tight specs. You take it from there — write the skill, integrate the systems, test it, ship it, document it, move on to the next.
You will work fully remote on UK business hours (typically 08:00–18:00 GMT) as part of a small AI team. Comms run on Microsoft Teams, with a tidy daily handover so the AI Enablement Lead always knows where each ticket sits. We supply the kit and tools you need — Claude, ChatGPT, GitHub, and access to our business systems.If you like turning a clear brief into a working AI tool that is live in the business by the end of the week, you will be at home here.
Key Responsibilities:
- Turn specifications from the AI Enablement Lead into working, tested, documented Claude skills.
- Build and maintain AI agents using Claude Code, Claude in Chrome, Cowork and custom agent frameworks — automating real workflows, not toy demos.
- Build MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers that expose our business systems — Salesforce, SimPRO, Microsoft 365, Fabric and others — to Claude and other LLMs.
- Write prompts and system instructions that hit the quality bar, iterating until the output is reliable.
- Integrate Claude with internal systems via REST APIs, webhooks, and serverless workers (Cloudflare Workers, Supabase).
- Build small supporting web apps and dashboards (React, TypeScript) where a skill or agent needs a UI.
- Version, document and release every skill cleanly — keep the library tidy and the release notes clear.
- Work the backlog in tight feedback loops with the AI Enablement Lead, and spot patterns to build reusable components rather than one-off solutions.
Qualification and requirements:
- Strong hands-on Python and TypeScript / JavaScript — you write production code daily.
- Real experience building applications on LLMs (Claude, OpenAI or comparable) — not just using them in chat.
- Hands-on experience with agentic AI — building agents that take real actions via tool use, planning loops and system integrations, not just chatbots.
- Strong prompt engineering instincts — you know how to get reliable, structured output from a model.
- Confident integrating multiple systems via REST APIs, webhooks and SDKs.
- Git fluent — branches, pull requests, code review, clean commits, semantic versioning.
- Self-directed and organised — you run your own backlog and ship without close supervision.
- Excellent written and spoken English — almost all of our collaboration happens over Teams calls, chat, docs and code.
- Stable, fast internet, a quiet working environment, and the ability to work UK business hours from your location.
- Curious — you keep up with how AI is moving and bring practical ideas back to the team.
Nice to have:
- Experience building Claude skills, custom GPTs or similar packaged AI capabilities.
- Working knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) — consuming existing servers or building your own.
- Experience with Claude Code, autonomous coding agents, or ticket-to-code pipelines.
- React / front-end experience for building dashboards and skill UIs.
- SQL and data warehouse experience (we use Microsoft Fabric).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, or comparable business systems APIs.
- Cloudflare Workers, Supabase, or similar serverless / edge experience.
