Plumber foreman

Job Description

• Supervises and leads plumbers, helpers, and subcontractors on-site.
• Plans, assigns, and monitors daily plumbing activities to ensure timely project completion.
• Interprets plumbing drawings, plans, and specifications to guide work execution.
• Ensures plumbing installations comply with local plumbing codes, safety standards, and project requirements.
• Conducts toolbox meetings and enforces safety rules and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Coordinates with project engineers, supervisors, and other trades to avoid work conflicts.
• Inspects work progress and workmanship quality; initiates corrective actions as necessary.
• Monitors material usage and submits requisitions to prevent shortages or delays.
• Ensures proper installation, testing, and commissioning of water supply, drainage, and sanitary systems.
• Reports daily accomplishments, manpower utilization, and issues to management.
• Identifies and resolves on-site technical and personnel issues promptly.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and work areas in safe and orderly condition.
• Ensures compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

• Vocational or technical graduate in Plumbing or related field; TESDA or equivalent certification preferred
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in plumbing works, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, materials, methods, and applicable codes.
• Ability to read and interpret plumbing plans and shop drawings.
• Leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Physically fit and capable of working in construction site conditions.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
