- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sourcing and Selection
- Coordinate with department heads to confirm manpower requests and validate approved JD and requirements.
- Work with MIS Department to prepare and post job advertisements on appropriate recruitment platforms and social media channels
- Screen résumés, shortlist qualified applicants, and schedule interviews with concerned hiring managers.
- Conduct initial interviews, pre-employment exams and assessments in accordance with established recruitment criteria.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the applicant tracking system and HRIS database.
- Monitor recruitment metrics (turnaround time, cost-per-hire, candidate source, and quality-of-hire).
- Coordinate pre-employment medical examinations, background checks, and document completion of selected candidates.
- Prepare and issue employment offers, ensuring proper approval and documentation.
- Initiate and maintain partnerships with schools, universities, and training institutions to support OJT and internship programs, conduct outreach activities, and build a strong talent pipeline by prioritizing high-performing trainees for employment opportunities.
- Conduct background checks and pre-employment verification as part of the candidate selection process, ensuring integrity, qualifications, and compliance with company standards.
- Onboarding and Orientation
- Facilitate new-hire onboarding, ensuring employees complete all requirements before deployment.
- Prepare new-hire folders, welcome kits, and onboarding schedules.
- Conduct HR orientation sessions and explain company policies, benefits, and code of conduct.
- Ensure timely turnover of new-hire information to payroll and HR records.
- Coordinate with IT, Admin, and Payroll to ensure readiness of tools and accounts for new hires.
- Administrative and Support Functions
- Prepare recruitment-related correspondence, agreements, and memoranda.
- Maintain confidentiality of applicant and employee information.
- Participate in HR projects such as job fairs, training programs, and employee engagement activities.
- Perform other tasks as may be assigned by the HR Manager.
- Draft and release advisories for job openings, manpower pooling, and employee movements (approved by HR Supervisor/Head)
- Collect, file, and update pre-employment documents (201 files, HRIS updates)
