We're building out a modern, data-driven sales function from the ground up, and this role is central to that growth.

Role Overview

We're hiring a Sales Executive to own the closing side of our sales cycle. Our email outreach and lead generation run through automated systems already in place, your focus is on qualifying the leads that come through, running discovery calls, and closing deals.

You'll also help fine-tune and monitor the existing automation to keep lead quality and response rates high, but the core of the role is selling, not building the systems from scratch.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting
  • Monitor and qualify leads generated through our automated outreach system
  • Supplement with personal prospecting on LinkedIn and other platforms or via referrals when needed
  • Review automated outreach performance (open/reply rates) and flag messaging or targeting adjustments
Sales Execution & Closing
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect pain points and qualify fit
  • Deliver tailored pitches and proposals based on client needs
  • Handle objections, negotiate terms, and close new business
  • Manage a personal pipeline and consistently hit monthly/quarterly targets
  • Coordinate smooth handoff to operations/onboarding once a deal closes
Sales Systems & Monitoring
  • Own CRM hygiene, accurate stage tracking, notes, and forecasting data
  • Monitor automated email sequences and follow-up cadences, flagging any issues or drop-offs
  • Suggest tweaks to existing automation (timing, messaging, targeting) based on results
  • Ensure leads move smoothly from automation into active pipeline management
Reporting & Collaboration
  • Track and report daily, weekly, monthly on outreach volume, conversion rates, and pipeline health
  • Work with leadership to refine ICP, messaging, and sales playbooks based on what's converting
  • Share market/competitor insights gathered during prospecting
Success Metrics (first 6 months)
  • Consistent number of qualified discovery calls booked per month from automated lead flow
  • Pipeline-to-close conversion rate at or above target benchmark
  • Clean, up-to-date CRM with accurate pipeline data
  • Documented feedback loop improving automated outreach performance over time
Requirements
  • 2+ years in B2B sales, business development, or a closing role (BPO/services sales a strong plus)
  • Demonstrated track record of hitting sales targets
  • Comfortable working within CRM and sales engagement tools
  • Comfortable with automation and AI tools to support prospecting, writing, and follow-up
  • Must be able to multitask across active deals at different pipeline stages
  • Must be able to do in-depth research to understand a prospects business and pain points
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication
  • Comfortable working across AU/US/UK time zones
  • Self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a startup environment
  • Open to hybrid work setup
