Role Overview

As a Trading Algorithms Intern, you’ll assist in the development, testing, and refinement of trading models. You’ll gain hands-on experience working with live data, backtesting frameworks, and advanced trading logic. This role is ideal for someone eager to grow in the fields of quantitative finance, algorithmic investing, and data-driven research.

Responsibilities

Assist in developing and optimizing trading algorithms
Conduct research and data analysis for market trends and strategy performance
Participate in live trading sessions with the team
Support backtesting of strategies and review trading model outputs
Compile data reports and performance summaries
Collaborate with senior team members on R&D projects

Ideal Candidate Profile

Understanding of algorithmic trading, market structure, and backtesting
Proficient in Python, C++, or similar programming languages
Strong quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
Clear communicator with strong documentation ability
Able to work independently and thrive in a remote setting
Interest in fintech, trading systems, or data science
Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
