Dispatcher

About the role

As a Dispatcher at Meatworld International, Inc.', you will play a crucial role in coordinating and managing the efficient movement of products and vehicles within our fast-paced production and distribution operations. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day scheduling and dispatching of our fleet, ensuring timely delivery to our customers across the Taguig City Metro Manila region.

1. Oversee the real-time scheduling and dispatching of delivery vehicles to meet customer demands and operational requirements
2. Liaise with production, warehouse and sales teams to coordinate logistics and respond to changing priorities
3. Monitor vehicle locations, delivery status and route progress using tracking systems
4. Maintain detailed records of all dispatching activities, fleet utilisation and delivery performance
5. Collaborate with the Logistics Manager to identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
6. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any delivery-related issues

1. At least 2 years of experience in a logistics or transportation dispatch role, preferably within the manufacturing or distribution industry
2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with various internal and external stakeholders
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities to manage competing priorities and respond to changing circumstances
4. Proficient in using transportation management and fleet tracking systems
5. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and reporting
6. Knowledge of local traffic conditions and delivery routes in the Taguig City Metro Manila region
