About the role
This is an excellent opportunity to join The Medical City South Luzon as a Collections Staff (Project-Based) in Santa Rosa City, Laguna. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's healthcare operations by ensuring efficient collection of outstanding payments.This is a project-based role, allowing you to contribute your expertise and skills towards a defined objective.
What you'll be doing- Proactively follow up with patients and insurance providers to collect outstanding balances
- Liaise with relevant departments to obtain necessary information and documentation
- Negotiate payment plans and arrangements with patients to resolve past-due accounts
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all collection activities
- Assist in the development and implementation of collection strategies to improve overall performance
- Comply with all relevant regulations and internal policies governing collection practices
- Previous experience in a collections or accounts receivable role, preferably in the healthcare industry
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively engage with patients and stakeholders
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency in using relevant software and database systems to record and track collection activities
- A team-oriented approach with the ability to work collaboratively across different departments
- Familiarity with healthcare regulations and compliance requirements
