Position: Senior Accountant
Job Summary:We are looking for a Senior Accountant responsible for managing accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, reviewing transactions, supporting financial reporting, and assisting in month-end closing, tax compliance, and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain accurate accounting records in SAP and review accounting transactions
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities
- Ensure proper recording of revenues, expenses, assets, and liabilities
- Review and validate Accounts Payable documents and payment transactions
- Monitor inventory accounting, costing, and reconciliation activities
- Assist in tax compliance, tax planning, and preparation of tax-related documents
- Review and validate Cold Storage billings and resolve discrepancies
- Monitor bank reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls
- Prepare financial reports and provide analysis for management
- Support finance projects and process improvement initiatives
- Graduate of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy or Management Accounting
- CPA is preferred but not required
- With at least 3 years of experience in accounting and financial reporting
- Knowledgeable in inventory accounting, taxation, and financial reporting
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is an advantage
- Strong analytical, supervisory, and problem-solving skills
