What is the job?

The Accounting Associate is responsible for managing and processing all invoices and payments in an accurate and timely manner.

Responsibilities:

• Reviews, verifies, and inputs invoices into the accounting system.
• Processes electronic transfers, payments, and performs check runs.
• Maintains vendor files and resolves invoice discrepancies.
• Reconciles accounts payable transactions and prepares account analyses.
• Files documents promptly to maintain accurate historical records.
• Assists with month-end closing procedures and ensures timely payments.

Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least one (1) to two (2) years of experience in an accounts payable role is beneficial but not required. Training will be provided.
