JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Design Engineers, fostering performance and growth.
• Oversee project planning and design execution, ensuring solutions meet client needs.
• Collaborate with Sales during the presales process, offering technical insight and validation.
• Review and approve technical documents and prototypes to uphold quality standards.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying process optimizations and encouraging innovation.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of 5 years in Solutions Architect, Design and Estimation for Security products (Access Control, Biometrics, Turnstiles, RFID, CCTV, Alarm, etc.), with a degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology or equivalent.
• Supervises Design Engineers, analyzes bidding documents, prepares project submittals, and manages costing and compliance.
• Recommends suppliers, provides cost benchmarks, and supports project implementation with detailed cost proposals.
• Suggests and implements workflow improvements and digital forms; AutoCAD knowledge is a plus.
• Skilled in creating single line diagrams, riser diagrams, shop drawings, and interpreting design specs, wiring layouts, and as-built plans.
