Safety Officer for Manila Projects

We are looking for an experienced and highly qualified Safety Officer to join our growing construction projects in Manila. The ideal candidate must bring proven expertise in construction safety, hold the necessary certifications (e.g., BOSH, COSH, DOLE-accredited training), and be ready to start immediately.

Core Focus Areas:

1. Compliance & Safety Management – Ensure adherence to all DOLE, OSH, and company safety standards.
2. Risk Prevention & Control – Implement proactive strategies to minimize workplace hazards and accidents.
3. Safety Culture Building – Promote awareness, discipline, and accountability across all project teams.

Key Result Areas (KRAs):

• Conduct regular site safety inspections, risk assessments, and hazard identifications.
• Develop, implement, and enforce safety programs, policies, and emergency response plans.
• Ensure all workers undergo safety orientation and required training sessions.
• Maintain compliance with government regulations and submit timely reports.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Zero tolerance on major accidents or lost-time incidents (LTI).
• 100% compliance with DOLE/OSH standards and audit requirements.
• Timely reporting of incidents, near-misses, and corrective actions.
• Increased safety awareness measured through employee participation in trainings and drills.

Qualifications:

• With great years of experience as a Safety Officer in the construction industry.
• Must possess valid safety certificates (BOSH, COSH, and other DOLE-mandated training).
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards, laws, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and documentation skills.
• Must be willing to start ASAP.
