Position Overview
As the BCP and Compliance Office, you will be responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing workplace safety and manages compliance planning for business continuity.
Your main duty is to ensure that the company complies and adheres to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) guidelines and regulations, and act as primary contact in all health and safety-related concerns within the office environment.
Essential Functions
DOLE-OSH & GLS Compliance- Ensure full compliance with RA 11058 (OSH Law) and its IRR
- Ensure of timely submission of required reports such as WAIR, AMR, and Annual Establishment OSH Reports
- Maintain up-to-date documentation on workplace accidents, illnesses, and inspections
- Ensure compliance with DOLE General Labor Standards (GLS)
- Coordinate and respond to DOLE inspections and compliance directives
- Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments in coordination with Facilities Team
- Implement and monitor 5S compliance at the Insight Manila office
- Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective and preventive actions
- Facilitate regular safety drills (e.g., fire, earthquake)
- Develop, implement, review, and maintain the company's Emergency Response Plan and document
- Ensure availability and functionality of emergency equipment
- Lead or coordinate emergency response teams in the Manila site
- Establish and maintain Safety Committees for the Manila office
- Serve as committee secretary or member, ensuring regular meetings and documentation
- Conduct Mandatory OSH (MOSH) orientation for new and existing teammates , report and ensure 100% completion to training
- Ensure all related training materials are reviewed and up to date
- Monitor and track designated First Aiders and Safety Officers in the site
- Ensure compliance with Fire Safety protocols and Emergency Response Team (ERT) requirements
- Coordinate with Maintenance to ensure their compliance on daily office sanitation and hygiene compliance
- Coordinate with Facilities to ensure their compliance with daily monitoring of facility conditions such as lighting, ventilation, water, and restrooms.
- Report and follow up on facility repair and improvements with Site/Building Maintenance
- Maintain safety-related records, certificates, and permits
- Prepare and release safety-related memos and reports
- Support the implementation of safety and health policies
- Support and provide guidance on end-to-end Business Continuity Management Journey:
- Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and Risk Assessment
- Business Continuity Strategy Formulation
- Business Continuity Plan Development

- Training and Awareness
- Third-Party Business Continuity Management and Assessment
- Internal Audit and External Audit Support
- Validate and synthesize BIA results, contingency plans, and critical resources
- Provide guidance and recommendations on contingency planning
- Facilitate plan testing and exercises and prepare post report and action plan tracking
- Review and maintain BCP document, BIA, and other related documents
- Review, maintain, and manage BCP related AI agent and PowerApps related BCP tool
- Safety Officer Certification (SO4 - has completed a mandatory 40-hour OSH training course, an additional 80 hours of advanced/specialized OSH training, and a total of 320 hours of OSH-related training or experience
- At least 2 years of experience in health, safety, and compliance management, preferably within a corporate office environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in safety and health or related field.
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations, business continuity planning, and LGU compliance processes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, and training programs.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
