Test Engineering Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, the individual will perform equipment setup, troubleshooting both ATE vendor software and hardware. The individual will work offline to all ATE related projects such as software migrations, first of its kind (FOIK) testers and all ATE instruments issues that could affect Global sites.

Details of some key responsibilities:

• Exemplify implementation of accountability, discipline, moral conduct and 5S.
• Follows the standard operating procedures. Logs consistently all repair activities done for all equipment.
• Performs tools and instruments upkeep. Keep tools and instruments in good condition.
• Assist in making periodic analysis of line issues, analyze root cause and implement activities to eliminate top recurring issues. Collaborate with other departments to reduce downtime.
• Collaborate with peers to achieve department goals and company goals. Contributes ideas for continuous improvement.
• Performs other related duties that may be assigned by the immediate or next immediate supervisor.
• Responsible for evaluation of impact for ATE software/hardware changes.
• Responsible for evaluating compatibility of PC operating system changes with ATE software
• Perform qualification of all First of its kind ATE.
• Conduct hardware troubleshooting and repair of tester and peripherals
• Capable of debugging test programs and recommend test program revisions
• Capable of tester installation and de-installation.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have attended at least three (3) years in college with course related to: Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Computer Engineering or a graduate of Technology course and a minimum of six months experience as maintenance personnel or with at least, five (5) years experience in various automatic test equipment and/or test systems.
