The IT Support role ensures the smooth operation and reliability of timekeeping systems, biometric devices, and related applications. This position is responsible for maintaining accurate attendance data, providing technical support, and improving system efficiency for daily operations.
Key responsibilities- Maintain and monitor HR timekeeping systems, database, biometric devices, and attendance tools.
- Generate attendance reports, including tardiness, overtime, leaves, absences, and logs.
- Assist in validating and preparing timekeeping data for payroll processing.
- Troubleshoot technical issues, including connectivity, syncing, user access, hardware, software.
- Manage user accounts, system configuration, and data security and backups.
- Provide technical support during system setup and onboarding, and coordinate with IT or vendors as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–2 years of experience in IT support or system-related role
- Familiarity with timekeeping systems , attendance software or biometric devices
- Basic knowledge of system troubleshooting and data handling
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel for monitoring, reporting and data analysis
- Hands-on experience with biometric machines or attendance systems
- Understanding of payroll-related timekeeping processes
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Effective communication skills with the ability to assist non-technical users
