Data Warehouse Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Data Warehouse Developer to design, develop, and maintain data warehouse solutions and ETL pipelines. The ideal candidate should have experience with AWS data services, database management, BI reporting tools, and Python development.

Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are also essential for this role.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable data warehouse solutions.
Build and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using AWS services such as AWS Glue, Lambda, and Snowflake.
Perform data transformation and modeling using DBT (Data Build Tool).
Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database structures.
Manage and support databases including PostgreSQL and Athena.
Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using Power BI and Tableau.
Develop automation scripts and data processing solutions using Python.
Monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot data-related issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver data solutions.
Lead technical initiatives, mentor team members, and provide guidance on best practices.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and performance standards.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Data Warehouse Developer or similar role.
Strong experience with AWS services for ETL and data warehousing (AWS Glue, Lambda, Snowflake, etc.).
Experience in data transformation using DBT.
Proficient in PostgreSQL and Athena.
Skilled in Power BI and Tableau for reporting and dashboard development.
Strong Python programming and development skills.
Excellent SQL and data modeling skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
With leadership skills and experience handling or guiding a team is an advantage.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with cloud-based data architecture and big data technologies.
Familiarity with CI/CD and DevOps practices for data engineering.
AWS or relevant cloud certifications are an advantage.
