Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and experienced Purchasing Supervisor to lead and manage procurement activities, ensuring timely acquisition of materials and services. The role requires strong experience in both semiconductor and construction industries, with a focus on supplier management, cost control, and operational efficiency.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing purchasing processes, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining reliable supplier partnerships to support business operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily purchasing operations and procurement processes
  • Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for cost-effective purchasing
  • Prepare and process purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of materials
  • Coordinate with project teams and other departments for purchasing requirements
  • Monitor inventory levels and ensure availability of critical materials
  • Maintain and update supplier database and records
  • Conduct supplier evaluation and performance monitoring
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and improve purchasing strategies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement standards

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in any related course (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or equivalent)
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in semiconductor and construction industries
  • Strong negotiation and supplier management skills
  • Good analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience in ERP systems is an advantage
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
