Purchasing Staff

Key Responsibilities

Process Purchase Requests (PR) from different departments
Source and evaluate suppliers; request and compare quotations
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO)
Coordinate with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
Monitor delivery status and ensure timely receipt of items
Verify documents such as Delivery Receipts (DR) and invoices
Maintain accurate purchasing records and supplier database
Assist in cost comparison and budget monitoring
Ensure compliance with company purchasing procedures

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field
At least 1–2 years experience in purchasing or procurement (preferred)
Familiarity with procurement processes and documentation
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting
Experience in logistics or fleet-related purchasing is an advantage
