About the Role
RAAU Engineering Services is urgently hiring a Project Engineer to take full ownership of our residential and fit-out construction projects in the Sta. Rosa–Biñan, Laguna area. This is a senior-level role — you won't just supervise, you'll lead projects from planning through handover, manage budgets, coordinate subcontractors, and mentor junior team members.
This is a direct hire position with continuous employment and full government-mandated benefits after regularization.
Important: This role requires 6–8 years of project management experience in residential or fit-out construction. Candidates must have a proven track record of delivering complete projects end-to-end. Applicants with primarily horizontal/infrastructure backgrounds or those without hands-on project management experience will not be considered.
Location Preference: We prefer applicants currently based in South Luzon (Calabarzon, Batangas, Laguna, Cavite, Rizal) or Metro Manila, or those who are willing and ready to relocate to the Laguna area.
What You'll Lead
Project Ownership- Take full responsibility for residential and fit-out projects — from initial planning to completion and handover.
- Develop comprehensive project plans including timelines, schedules, and resource allocation.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and implement cost-control measures.
- Handle change orders and negotiate with subcontractors.
- Supervise on-site construction activities to ensure work meets approved plans and specifications.
- Lead and manage foremen, workers, and junior engineers.
- Coordinate multiple trades and subcontractors working simultaneously.
- Enforce safety, health, and housekeeping standards on-site.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and owner's representatives.
- Provide regular progress updates and resolve issues proactively.
- Coordinate with the office on procurement, documentation, and reporting.
- Prepare and submit weekly progress reports to management.
- Maintain complete project records — plans, specs, contracts, inspection documents.
- Prepare cost estimates, material requisitions, and work schedules.
- Licensed Civil Engineer (PRC-registered)
- 6–8 years of project management experience in residential construction or fit-out projects (strict requirement)
- Proven track record of end-to-end project delivery — planning, execution, handover
- Proficient in MS Office and AutoCAD
- Strong leadership and communication skills — must be able to manage teams and coordinate with clients
- COSH / Safety Officer certification is an advantage
- Ability to drive is an advantage
- Must be based in South Luzon or Metro Manila, or willing to relocate to Laguna
