PROJECT ENGINEER (Licensed Civil Engineer)

We are looking for a motivated and results-oriented Project Engineer to join our growing team. You will play a key role in the improvement and expansion of our swine farming operations. This role requires a strong understanding of engineering principles, experience in the agricultural industry and a passion for innovation and efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Project Manager in developing project plans and timelines for swine farm improvements and expansions.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and construction contractors to design and implement new facilities and upgrades.
• Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for proposed projects.
• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring adherence to financial constraints.
• Oversee construction activities, ensuring compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve farm efficiency, animal welfare, and biosecurity.
• Manage project documentation, including drawings, specifications, and contracts.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in swine farm management.

Qualifications:

• Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer
• Minimum 5 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the Manufacturing or Construction industry.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and construction methods.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
• Familiarity with relevant agricultural regulations and best practices for swine farming.
