Waste-to-Disposal Project Engineer - Quezon City

We are seeking a Waste-to-Disposal Project Engineer who brings strong technical expertise combined with strategic business development skills to support and lead projects in the solid waste management and waste-to-energy (WTE) sectors. The ideal candidate must have the ability to coordinate with LGUs, communicate with government agencies, secure permits, and contribute to the growth and development of WTE initiatives across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, implement, and oversee solid waste disposal and WTE project activities.
• Coordinate with Local Government Units (LGUs), regulatory agencies (DENR, EMB, DILG, etc.), and other stakeholders for project approvals and support.
• Facilitate permits acquisition including ECC, PTO, business permits, and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct site assessments, technical feasibility studies, and monitoring of project progress.
• Assist in business development initiatives, market analysis, proposal preparation, and stakeholder presentations.
• Act as technical liaison between the company, LGUs, consultants, and contractors.
• Prepare engineering and business reports, project documentation, and compliance reports.
• Support public consultations, project orientations, and technical meetings with government units and community representatives.

Qualifications:

• Licensed Civil, Mechanical, Environmental, or Electrical Engineer.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in solid waste management, environmental engineering, or waste-to-energy projects.
• Proven experience in business development, stakeholder engagement, and project coordination.
• Strong understanding of Philippine permitting processes and environmental regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, especially in liaising with LGUs and government officials.
• Willing to travel and conduct fieldwork as needed across different regions in the Philippines.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in PPP or LGU-private partnership project development.
• Knowledge in project budgeting, proposal writing, and tender documentation.
• Familiarity with WTE technologies and landfill operations.
