Site Engineer/Project-in-Charge

MAIN FUNCTION:

Leads the daily physical construction operations, ensuring that what was planned on paper is executed correctly in the field.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Oversee and manage all construction activities to ensure projects are completed in accordance with approved plans, specifications, quality standards, safety regulations, budgets, and project schedules.
2. Plan, monitor, and control project execution by preparing and tracking schedules, material requirements, manpower allocation, project costs, accomplishments, claims, change orders, and subcontractor billings.
3. Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders to address project requirements, provide progress updates, resolve technical issues, and ensure effective project implementation.
4. Prepare and submit project reports by monitoring site progress, analyzing project performance, reviewing engineering deliverables, and recommending corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
5. Lead and supervise the project team by assigning tasks, mentoring personnel, conducting toolbox meetings, enforcing company policies and QA/QC standards, and maintaining a safe, organized, and productive work environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

• Licensed Civil Engineer
• At least 1–2 years of experience in site management and other technical functions is preferred, but not required
• Strong coordination, multitasking, and reliability skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities effectively
