This role is for engineers who'd rather be on a rooftop than behind a desk. You'll own solar projects from design validation to commissioning — managing crews, inspecting installations, resolving field issues, and making sure every system gets built right and closed clean.
The role- Manage concurrent residential and commercial solar installations end-to-end
- Validate PV designs for constructability; conduct pre-installation site visits
- Direct installation crews and inspect work quality on site
- Verify electrical test results: string voltages, insulation resistance, grounding
- Handle permits — electrical, building, barangay, net metering, DU interconnection
- Lead commissioning and complete client turnover with full documentation
- Track project budgets, flag cost overruns, and manage subcontractor billings
- BS in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 1-3 years in project management, engineering coordination, or construction
- Solar PV project experience strongly preferred
- Familiar with PEC, DOE net metering, and LGU permit processes
- Can read SLDs, layout plans, and technical specs independently
- Organized, field-ready, and comfortable making decisions on the ground
- Valid driver's license; willing to do frequent site visits
Nice to have
REE or RME license- PMP certification
- AutoCAD · ERC interconnection background
- EPC or renewable energy experience
