MAIN AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

The Accounting Associate position is responsible for bookkeeping and handling Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions. Prepares finance and accounting documents in a timely manner.

TASKS:

  • Prepares daily, monthly invoices and monitors weekly accounts receivables.
  • Monitor daily collections, including performing callouts, follow-up calls to clients, and coordinating payment-related concerns.
  • Post payments, adjusting entries, and create credit memos in the accounting system (Netsuite).
  • Handles issuance of Official Receipts to clients
  • Manage and maintain organized documentation of accounting files and records.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliation processes to ensure accuracy of financial records.
  • Engages in strong customer interactions, ensuring timely dispute resolution within the TAT.
  • Manage multiple client accounts efficiently while ensuring timely dispute resolution.
  • Performs other tasks as may be assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS | COMPETENCIES:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s / College Degree, Finance/ Accountancy
  • Experience in bookkeeping or Accounts Receivable is an advantage but Fresh Graduates are also welcome
  • Proficient in Accounting software, particularly Netsuite and Xero.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and other basic office applications.
  • Knowledgeable in journalizing and posting transactions, including adjusting entries and payments, in Netsuite.
  • Strong customer service, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple client concerns and resolve disputes within SLA.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Team player with a dynamic and proactive personality.
  • Willing to work in a hybrid setup (combination of work-from-home and on-site reporting).
