Finance and Accounting Officer - Manila

1. Accounting & Bookkeeping

• Record and monitor financial transactions in accordance with company policies and accounting standards

1. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare financial reports including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
• Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for budgeting and forecasting
• Monitor budget performance and highlight variances

1. Taxation & Compliance

• Prepare and file tax returns and other government-mandated contributions (e.g., VAT, Withholding Tax, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG)
• Ensure compliance with BIR and other relevant government agencies
• Assist in internal and external audits

1. Payroll & Disbursement Support

• Coordinate with HR and payroll team for salary computation and disbursement
• Monitor payables and receivables and ensure timely processing of payments

1. Financial Controls & Documentation

• Maintain proper documentation of all financial transactions and ensure confidentiality
• Help implement and monitor internal financial controls and procedures
• Support in developing or improving accounting systems and processes
• Maintain general ledger and ensure proper journal entries
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Reconcile bank statements and other financial records

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• At least 1 year of finance-related experience
• Strong analytical skills and financial acumen
• Proficient in Excel and financial software
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
