Accounting Officer – Logistics/Freight Forwarding
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics or freight forwarding, with expertise in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), and Billing.The role requires proficiency in online payment requests and bank transactions. This is an urgent hiring, and the candidate must be able to start immediately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes efficiently.
- Oversee billing operations, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing.
- Process online payment requests and coordinate bank transactions.
- Reconcile financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare financial reports related to logistics and freight forwarding transactions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records for audits and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or freight forwarding accounting.
- Strong knowledge of AR, AP, and billing procedures.
- Familiarity with online payment systems and banking transactions.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
