Research Operations Analyst (US Wealth Management, Office-based)
Schedule: Monday - Friday (9PM - 6AM/10PM - 7AM PHT)
What are we looking for?
Skills Required:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, finance, mathematics or a quantitative science
- CFA preferred
- 2 years' experience preferred
- Strong working knowledge of financial markets and investments
- Proficient in Excel (including macros and pivot tables) and Powerpoint
- Strong math skills
- Strong computing skills: ability to navigate numerous data providers such as Bloomberg, Morningstar Direct, Pitchbook, Burgiss, others
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
Nice to Have:
- CFA
- Manage information within our manager database
- Provide support for our due diligence process in the form of manager analysis and benchmarking
- Developing materials and presentations for internal and external use
- Manager data & information management
- Dasseti software oversight (set up new managers and products, add manager updates, add notes, etc.)
- Data room management for potential new managers
- Assist with due diligence requirements
- Track record and portfolio company analysis and performance benchmarking
- Assist with material preparation including due diligence memo
- Provide market analysis
- Assist with manager and reference calls
- Assist with reporting
- Manage internal reporting covering market information and manager updates (i.e. quarterly asset class reviews, quarterly monitoring report for public securities, weekly private investment pipeline reports, attribution reports etc.)
- Assist with external reporting covering market information and manager updates (i.e. public manager tear sheets, quarterly reporting for private managers, etc.)
- Assist with ad hoc data requests
- Work effectively with other teams throughout the organization
- Other duties as assigned
