As part of our continued partnership with one of our key clients, we’re hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join the team at Icare Medical Group, a global premium homecare equipment provider operating across New Zealand, Australia, and the United States.
What You’ll Be Doing
As an Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the integrity, accuracy, and completeness of financial records while supporting the Financial Controller in core finance operations.Cash Flow Management
- Prepare and maintain daily and monthly bank reconciliations
- Monitor cash movements and working capital trends
- Assist in short-term cash flow reporting
- Identify and escalate cash flow risks or anomalies
- Prepare and monitor customer aged receivables
- Identify overdue or high-risk accounts
- Support collections activities and reporting
- Analyze debtor and revenue trends
- Maintain AR, AP, Cash Management, Inventory, and GL master data
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and integrity
- Perform periodic data reviews
- Support month-end close processes
- Perform subledger-to-GL reconciliations
- Own balance sheet integrity and reconciliations
- Prepare journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation, tax)
- Assist with management accounts and P&L variance analysis
- Prepare and reconcile GST and BAS returns
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and policies
- Maintain audit-ready documentation
- Assist with audit preparation
- Identify and implement process improvements
- Support finance-related initiatives
- 3–6 years of experience in a general ledger or accounting role
- Strong reconciliation and balance sheet experience
- Solid background in AR, AP, and bank reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with HarmoniQ (advantageous)
- Willingness to work Australasian, North American, or UK shift hours
- Willingness to work in or relocate to Angeles City, Pampanga
