Head of Claims - Life&Healthcare Insurance
Makati
Lead all Life and Healthcare claims operations, including inpatient, outpatient, and related healthcare products
- Build, develop, and manage a claims team of approximately 10-15 professionals
- Drive operational excellence initiatives to improve turnaround time, accuracy, cost efficiency, and service quality
- Design and implement claims processing frameworks, controls, KPIs, and service-level standards
- Work closely with Customer Service and Customer Experience teams to strengthen client responsiveness and satisfaction
- Act as a senior advisor to the leadership team on claims strategy, scalability, and risk management
- Support the transition from claims operations currently managed under their healthcard partner toward a more autonomous claims structure
- Champion continuous improvement, Lean / Six Sigma, and data-driven decision-making across the claims function
- Minimum 15-20 years of experience in Insurance and/or Healthcare, with deep expertise in claims management
- Strong background managing complex healthcare claims operations
- Proven experience building and leading sizeable teams in a senior leadership capacity
- Demonstrated success in operational transformation, process improvement, and claims optimisation
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt or equivalent is a strong advantage
- Capable of operating at Head of Function level, with readiness to step into a GM role over time
