Senior Finance Analyst
We are seeking a highly skilled and commercially driven Senior Finance Analyst to join our Business Planning & Analysis team. This is a critical role supporting strategic cost management, performance analysis, and financial planning across a complex payroll environment.
You’ll work closely with functional leaders, including IT, Operations, and Service Delivery, to deliver insight, drive efficiency, and support data-led decision-making. The fluency in English is required. Daily Duties and Main Responsibilities will include:
- Design and deliver cost reporting frameworks across business units, providing clear visibility of spend, trends, and performance by region, function, and product line.
- Own monthly reporting cycles for functional cost centers, including preparation of board-level commentary, forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Lead and facilitate monthly review meetings with budget holders and senior stakeholders, confidently presenting financial results and insights in English.
- Partner with operational and support teams (e.g., IT, Service Delivery, Product, People) to manage budgets, track productivity KPIs, and support strategic decision-making.
- Support the allocation of costs across service lines and countries using agreed methodologies to reflect economic substance and improve margin reporting.
- Drive process improvements across financial systems, reporting structures, and master data governance to enhance automation, accuracy, and efficiency.
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting cycles, ensuring alignment with business strategy and financial objectives.
- Assist with transformation initiatives, cost efficiency programs, and ad hoc commercial analysis as required.
Attributes and Experience Required:
- Proven ability to work with large and complex datasets; comfortable translating data into meaningful insight for senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel capabilities (including Power Query, PivotTables, Lookups, dynamic modelling);
- Strong background in cost modelling, performance reporting, and financial planning.
- Comfortable navigating complex, matrixed environments and working across multiple international time zones and priorities.
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge constructively and explain finance to non-finance audiences.
- High attention to detail and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Experience in global services, SaaS, or payroll-related industries is a strong advantage.
- Experience with Power BI, Pigment, or similar tools is desirable.
