Civil engineer (general)

Job Description

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures and plans.
• Conduct inspections of construction works, materials, and equipment to ensure compliance with approved plans and specifications.
• Prepare, review, and maintain quality-related documentation, reports, and records.
• Coordinate with project engineers, site supervisors, consultants, and subcontractors regarding quality concerns.
• Monitor testing activities and ensure proper documentation of test results.
• Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Ensure compliance with company quality standards, client requirements, and government regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and provide updates on quality-related matters.
• Conduct site audits and quality inspections throughout project implementation.
• Assist in project turnover and final quality acceptance activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field.
• Licensed Civil Engineer is preferred.
• At least 2 years of experience in QA/QC, construction quality management, or related field.
• Knowledge of construction standards, materials testing, and quality control procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and engineering documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
• Willing to be assigned to project sites within Cebu and nearby areas.

Remarks

Must be a Licensed Civil Engineer with relevant experience in QA/QC for construction projects. Strong knowledge of quality standards, inspections, and project documentation is an advantage. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
