Job Overview
We are looking for a Systems Engineer / Programmer with a strong foundation in PLC and Control Systems Programming. The role involves system development, commissioning, and fine-tuning of control systems.
While prior experience in Building Services is not required, candidates must have solid programming and control knowledge. Industry-specific expertise will be provided through structured training programs and site exposure.
Candidates from the Industrial, Power, or Oil & Gas industries are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement PLC and control system programs
- Perform system commissioning, testing, and fine-tuning
- Conduct site inspections and pre-work data collection
- Lead or support energy audits as part of system optimization
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and operations teams
- Prepare and deliver technical training for completed projects
- Create and update control diagrams, schematics, and technical drawings
- Troubleshoot, improve, and optimize system performance
- Bachelor’s Degree in:
- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics Engineering (ECE)
- Mechatronics Engineering
- Instrumentation & Control Engineering
- Or any related Engineering field
- Computer Engineering / Computer Science graduates with relevant PLC or automation experience are welcome to apply
- PRC License (Electrical or Electronics Engineer) is an advantage but not required
- Hands-on experience in structured PLC programming (any platform)
- Experience in Siemens and/or Mitsubishi PLCs is an advantage
- Knowledge of SCADA systems / HMI programming is a plus
- Proficient in CAD software for control diagrams, schematics, and electrical drawings
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and take accountability
- Approximately 60% office work / 40% site work
- (Target KPI: 80% office / 20% site depending on project phase)
- Must be comfortable working in plant rooms and construction sites (hot and humid environments for extended periods)
- Willing to be deployed anywhere in the Philippines as requiredSoft Skills & Behavioral Competencies
