WE'RE HIRING: ACCOUNTING SUPERVISOR
Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor oversees daily accounting operations and ensures the timely and accurate preparation of financial reports in compliance with PFRS, BIR regulations, and company policies. The role supervises the accounting team, maintains the integrity of financial records, supports audits, and drives continuous process improvements to strengthen financial controls and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the Accounting team and ensure timely completion of accounting deliverables.
- Review and oversee general ledger maintenance, journal entries, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing activities.
- Ensure accurate accounting of fixed assets, inventory, importation transactions, and other financial records.
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), BIR regulations, and other statutory requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors, internal auditors, banks, and government agencies during audits and regulatory reviews.
- Monitor and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial processes.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow monitoring, and financial planning activities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop accounting staff through coaching and performance management.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and data accuracy.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of accounting experience.
- At least two (2) years in a supervisory or senior accounting role.
- Experience in the manufacturing industry is an advantage.
