Java Application Support Specialist

REQUIREMENTS:

• Graduate of Information Technology or any IT related courses, and / or business management / administration
• Proficient in multiple programming languages preferably Java, Scala,Python with extensive knowledge in SQL
• Experience in the following platform and databases – Linux, Azure Kubernetes, Databricks, Mongo, Cassandra, BigQuery, DB2
• Requires at least 5 years in application and maintenance support
• Good communication and interpersonal / social skills with the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Able to identify and resolve problems in an efficient manner.
• Able to gather and analyze information skillfully
• Willing to work in a shifting schedule and hybrid setup (3x RTO)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Will troubleshoot and assist on related issues in the project's applications.
• Has the urgency to resolve disruptions in production, and effectively communicate impact to business and key stakeholders.
• Analyzes, reviews, and alters program to optimize or increase operating efficiency or adapt to new requirements.
• Develop codes across multiple services or applications.
• Able to identify opportunities and solve complex operational problems, by identifying root cause and prescribing fixes and permanent solutions.
• Accountable and can successfully drive projects and automation efforts to completion.
• Responsible for providing technical guidance and coding direction to less experienced staff.
• Collaborates with internal partners (Development, SRE, DevOps, Infrastructure, Business, etc.) and external vendors for system maintenance and enhancements.
• Develop and prepare documents for the design of solutions that meet system requirements.
• Self-starter, critical thinker, and able to deliver with minimal direction and supervision.
