Batangas - Aircon Technician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Aircon Technician to install, maintain, and repair air conditioning systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings around CALABARZON or NCR in the Philippines. The technician must be knowledgeable in different AC unit types and capable of providing high-quality technical support and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair various air conditioning units including split-type, window-type, inverter.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, including cleaning, refrigerant charging, filter replacement, and electrical checks.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults, and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Troubleshoot and repair defective components and systems (compressors, thermostats, fan motors, etc.).
• Ensure systems are compliant with local standards (e.g., DOE energy regulations, occupational safety standards).
• Maintain service logs, job orders, and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with clients, supervisors, or engineers on job specifications and completion.
• Perform emergency repairs and after-hours service when required.
• Ability to drive a service van is an added advantage (Lite Ace or L300)

Qualifications:

• At least High School Graduate, preferably with a TESDA NC II Certification in RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning).
• Minimum 1–2 years of relevant experience in aircon installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of basic electrical systems and wiring related to HVAC.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Willing to travel to client sites or relocate if necessary.
• Physically fit, punctual, and with a strong work ethic.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Driving skills with a valid driver’s license (Restriction 1, 2, or 3) is plus.
• Knowledge in handling inverter technology and smart HVAC controls.
• Familiarity with safety protocols and BOSH/COSH certifications is a plus.

Working Conditions:

• Field-based work; requires travel to different locations and job sites.
• May involve extended hours, weekend, or holiday work depending on client needs.
• Must be willing to work in both indoor and outdoor environments, often under varying weather conditions.
