Refrigeration technician

Job Description

• Installation and Commissioning: Responsible for installing new refrigeration systems in various settings, such as commercial kitchens or residential properties. This involves following blueprints, connecting refrigeration lines, mounting compressors, and ensuring proper system operation.
• Maintenance and Inspection: Regular maintenance for the efficient operation of refrigeration systems. Inspects and service the equipment, checking for leaks, cleaning coils, replacing filters, and lubricating moving parts. Performs routine inspections to identify potential issues or areas that require attention.
• Repair and Troubleshooting: Diagnose the problem and perform repairs. This includes identifying faulty components, replacing parts, fixing electrical or mechanical issues, and ensuring the system is restored to its optimal functionality.
• Refrigerant Handling: Handle refrigerants, such as Freon or other environmentally friendly alternatives, responsibly and in compliance with safety regulations. Ensures proper charging, recovery, and disposal of refrigerants, preventing environmental contamination and adhering to legal requirements.
• System Upgrades and Retrofits: Responsible for retrofitting existing systems to improve energy efficiency, implementing new controls or automation systems, or integrating renewable energy sources.
• Customer Service: Interact with customers on a regular basis. Communicate technical information effectively, explain repair or maintenance procedures, and provide recommendations for optimizing system performance. Offer advice on energy efficiency, equipment upgrades, or potential system replacements.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain detailed records of maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Document the work performed, parts replaced, and any recommendations made. Accurate record-keeping helps track system history, identify recurring issues, and plan future maintenance schedules.
• Compliance and Safety: Comply with safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment. Follow industry standards, government regulations, and manufacturer guidelines related to handling refrigerants, electrical work, and other safety considerations.

• Male
• Must be a High School Graduate/Vocational or Short courses
• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in related job.
• With TESDA Certification is a plus
• With strong background in Refrigeration, Cleaning, Installing, Maintenance and Repairing of Kitchen equipment.
• Can start ASAP!
