Refrigeration & aircon technician

This role requires technical expertise in refrigeration, air conditioning, industrial electricity, pneumatics, hydraulics, instrumentation, and ammonia refrigeration systems.

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a graduate of Industrial Engineering, Power Plant Engineering, or any related engineering course aligned with the job.
• Vocational Graduate in RAC (Refrigeration and Air Conditioning) Servicing NCII is welcome to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform HVAC and refrigeration maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical systems.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Handle and operate ammonia refrigeration systems safely and efficiently.
• Maintain and repair refrigeration and electrical equipment.
• Apply instrumentation and controls for efficient system management.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Document maintenance activities and report any critical issues.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of work experience in refrigeration and air conditioning or related field.
• Proficient in HVAC and refrigeration maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of industrial electricity, pneumatics, and hydraulics applications.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls systems.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration system operation and maintenance is an advantage.
• Certification in ammonia handling and safety operations is a plus.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and other systems.
• Skilled in using tools, common appliances, and devices.
• Good physical condition and strength.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
