SALES MANAGER – FUEL PRODUCTS

JOB SUMMARY
The Sales Manager is responsible for driving fuel and lubricant sales growth by identifying market opportunities, managing customer relationships, and developing strategic sales initiatives.
This role requires a strong understanding of fuel market trends, pricing dynamics, and competitive conditions to effectively position products and maximize profitability.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve fuel and lubricant sales targets
- Identify, acquire, and maintain new and existing accounts to expand market share
- Build and sustain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
- Monitor and analyze fuel market trends, pricing movements, and competitor activities to guide sales strategies
- Recommend pricing strategies and adjustments based on market conditions and demand fluctuations
- Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and negotiations to secure contracts and partnerships
- Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to align sales initiatives with company goals
- Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and performance analysis
- Identify opportunities for product promotion, cross-selling, and upselling of fuel and lubricants
- Stay updated on industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging opportunities
- Handle customer concerns and provide timely solutions to maintain trust and satisfaction
- Participate in marketing campaigns, trade activities, and fieldwork to strengthen brand presence
QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Preferably a graduate of Business Administration, Marketing, Management, Engineering, or any related field
Experience:
- At least 3–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in fuel, oil & gas, retail, or distribution industry
- Proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience in B2B sales, account management, and field sales operations is an advantage
Knowledge & Industry Awareness:
- Strong understanding of fuel products, pricing strategies, and supply-demand dynamics
- Must be well-informed and updated on market trends, competitor activities, and economic factors affecting fuel pricing
- Ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable sales strategies
Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong marketing and negotiation skills with ability to influence and close deals
- Highly proactive, strategic, and results-oriented
- Strong customer relationship management and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in identifying business opportunities

Other Requirements:
- Willing to do fieldwork and client visits
- Preferably with driving skills (if applicable)
