Restaurant Shift Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dependable and hands-on Shift Manager to supervise restaurant operations during assigned shifts. This role involves managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining smooth and efficient service. The Shift Manager plays a key role in upholding operational standards and supporting the overall success of the restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations during assigned shifts.
• Ensure smooth handovers between shifts and maintain accurate shift reports.
• Lead and motivate front-of-house and back-of-house staff during the shift.
• Assign duties, monitor performance, and provide support as needed.
• Assist with staff training and development.
• Ensure guests receive high-quality service and resolve any complaints quickly and professionally.
• Maintain a welcoming and clean dining environment.
• Monitor food quality, cleanliness, and adherence to safety standards.
• Complete shift reports and communicate key issues or updates to management.
• Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed consistently.

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience as a Restaurant / Shift Manager (Fine Dining, Causal Dining, and Fast Food Dining)
• Completed at least 2 years in college
• Has strong leadership and management skills.
• Knowledge in P&L, Food Costing, Labor Costing, Food Safety, Quality in general
• Sales and customer-oriented
