CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

A Construction Manager for gasoline station projects is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising the construction of fuel retail facilities. This includes site development, underground tank installation, structural works, and ensuring strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations specific to fuel storage and dispensing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end construction process of gasoline stations, including site preparation, fuel system installation, canopy erection, and building structures.
• Coordinate with petroleum engineers, environmental consultants, designers, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations (e.g., fire safety, hazardous materials handling, environmental impact).
• Oversee installation of underground storage tanks piping systems, and fuel dispensers.
• Develop project timelines, cost estimates, and manage budgets.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to technical specifications.
• Hire and manage subcontractors and construction workers.
• Ensure completion of project milestones within scope, schedule, and budget.

Education & Certifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Certification or training in hazardous materials handling, installation, or petroleum safety standards or equivalent safety and project management credentials are advantageous.
• 5+ years of construction experience, with at least 2–3 years in petroleum/fuel station or similar infrastructure projects.
• Experience with environmental compliance and fuel system installations.

Skills:

• Strong understanding of petroleum infrastructure, including tank installation, fuel lines, and vapor recovery systems.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and regulations
• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• Proficiency in construction management software
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
