Key Responsibilities:
Monitor building systems (electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) during assigned shifts. Respond promptly to maintenance concerns, breakdowns, or emergencies.
Conduct regular shift inspections of equipment and facility areas.
Document shift activities, incidents, and maintenance performed.
Coordinate with other technicians and supervisors for proper turnover of tasks between shifts.
Follow all safety and operational procedures while on duty.
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications:
Vocational or technical certificate in electrical, mechanical, or building maintenance. 2+ years of relevant experience in a facility operations or maintenance role.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Strong troubleshooting and multitasking skills.

The Shift Technician ensures uninterrupted operation of building systems and equipment during assigned shifts. This role involves real-time monitoring, troubleshooting, and performing urgent repairs to keep facilities safe and functional at all times.
